When he turned his back to me I muttered a spell I never thought I would, a spell that would allow me to drink as much as I wanted and not get drunk. He hadn't noticed anything as I followed him into the other room. "got a pack of cards?" I grinned. I took the cards he placed on the table and shuffled them. "Aces means you don't have to take a shot. Two, three, jack and queen you take one shot. Three, four, nine and ten you take two. Five, six, seven and eight you have to put your glass on the floor, spin around three times and then pick your glass up and drink it. Kings you have to take four shots each." I stopped shuffling. "you in?"

I shrugged nonchalantly. “Bring it on, Barbie.” I smirked, filling the glasses as she drew the cards. It was hard for a vampire to get drunk. Sure, we did get drunk with enough alcohol, but our alcohol tolerance levels were extremely high compared to humans. Then it occurred to me. She wasn’t human, was she? Well, she was, but she was more than that; she was a witch. Did that change things? She had spells and shit she could use to her advantage. Even in drinking games? Ah, now where would the fun be in that? There wouldn’t be any. That’s where. Meh; I shrugged it off. It seemed a pointless spell to have really. Why not have something more extraordinary and useful, like flying or time travel? Now those would be useful. Inability to get drunk? Where’s the fun in that? I didn’t actually know if she had one or not, I was just musing. “Right,” I shoved a glass to her. “You start.”
