DEVLIN AND KESTREL PLOT

[Kestrel Savage.]

Kestrel takes the night courses because it suits her lifestyle better, what with being a vampire slayer and all. Kestrel finds a girl in her sorority house, Donna LaLaurie, drinking the blood of an innocent girl on campus. Kestrel kills Donna, previous to the beginning of the site.
Donna had been Devlin's cousin, and so when she disappears, Devlin realises there must be a slayer on campus. As he is a vampire he is taking the night courses as well.
The course they are taking is the study of motives and victimoloy of serial killers in the US. When Kestrel shows in class that she has an exceptional amount of interest in the Richard Chase killings -- known as the vampire killings - Dev gets suspicious and follows her.
He purposely bumps into her and finds a stake in her bag, and realises she's killed his cousin -- whom he'd been supposed to marry in order to keep the vampire pure blood line going. Dev didn't love Donna, he didn't even care about her, but he's too proud to not get revenge.
He can't come into her sorority house room unless she invites him in, so he tries to gain her trust so he can kill her ceremoniously as revenge for Donna's death.
Only then he starts to like Kestrel, but she absolutely detests him. She doesn't know he's a vampire, she just thinks he's a prick, and doesn't want anything to do with him.
One night Kestrel gets confronted by some guys who try to rape her, but Dev steps in. This makes Kestrel trust him a little more. She decides that she wants to make him into a good man, instead of a prick, so she starts trying to show him how he should be nice to people. Because Dev's trying to get close to Kestrel, he can let her try to change him. Or not, it's really up to Rach.
Kestrel begins to fall for Dev but is going out with Austin, and one night when she's with Dev she asks him to kiss her. Whether he does or not is up to Rach, because he is a vampire, so naturally he thinks humans are scum and vermin.
Donna's sister, Camilla, likes Dev. She kills Austin by chance and tries to convince Dev to drink his blood. Whether he does, Rachie's choice. Kestrel finds Dev over Austins corpse anywaysand realises he's a vampire.
She also thinks that Dev has kidnapped a girl from Theta Pi, Jinny, and so Kestrel tortures Dev to try and find out where Jinny is. Rachie, tisup to you whether Dev did take Jinny or not, but he does know where she is anyways or else Kestrel will kill you. Or you can bluff. It's up to you anyways. After a lot of torturing Dev agrees to show Kestrel where Jinny is. Whether he means it or he's bluffing is completely up to rach. And the rest can be made up by Rachel!

Ok, well (and I don't know what the lead up to this or the reason for this is) Kestrel sleeps with Dev, cuz it was going to happen eventually, you know. Anyways, can Dev tell Kes he loves her after that? Its up to you, he doesnt have to, I just thought it would make the next part more dramatic.
Anyways, IF dev told Kes his feelings, she could be a little weird in reacting cuz she doesn't believe in love and whatnot. Anyways, she leaves Dev in her room at Theta cuz she needs some air. The suns up, so Dev is kinda stuck in the room.
Kes remembers she left the stakes and stuff at Jessami House, so she goes back, thinking the vampires will all be asleep, as its day time. She encounters Leon, who tells her that he has seven pounds of C4 under her bed in Theta where he knows Dev is, and Leon has a detonator. The explosion will be strong enough to wipe out all of Theta Pi and some neighboring houses, not just Dev. Leon says he wont blow the bomb if Kes signs her soul to Leon.
Of course, Kes is sceptical but theres this contract and she has one minute to sign it or he'll blow the bomb. Naturally, she does.
Kes goes back to her room at Theta and (unknown to Leon) makes Dev promise never to try and kill himself again. Then, under Leons orders, she tells Dev that she doesn't love him and shes in love with Leon, and that they can't be friends.
Dev can either be all sulky like he was before or he can man up and try to win her back, thats up to Rach. Anyways, Leon is annoyed that he cant beat Dev because of his girft of the Unforetold, and tries to get Kestrel to tell him what Devs weaknesses are.
Dev can overhear this part, Kes says Dev has no weaknesses. Leon says he thinks he does, and is of course thinking of Kestrel.
And thats when Leon asks Kestrel to marry him. So yeah, read and edit, rach!

Meanwhile, Dev is stuck at Theta with this annoying ten year old who is visiting her cousin on campus but is lost and doesn't really want to go back to her mean cousin so she sticks on dev like white on rice. She will pretty much torment him and take his insults as a joke and whatnot. As ten year olds do.
Of course, Kes is sceptical but theres this contract and she has one minute to sign it or he'll blow the bomb. Naturally, she does.
Kes goes back to her room at Theta and kicks out the annoying ten year old and makes Dev promise never to try and kill himself again. Then, under Leons orders, she tells Dev that she doesn't love him and shes in love with Leon, and that they can't be friends.
Dev feels like if he hadn't have said he loved her she wouldn't be with Leon, but will try to in her back... Somehow...
Anyways, Leon is annoyed that he cant beat Dev because of his girft of the Unforetold, and tries to get Kestrel to tell him what Devs weaknesses are.

And thats when Leon asks Kestrel to marry him. and dependent on whether or not Kes says yes, Devlin will either try to gatecrash the wedding and Kidnap the bride. Wadda yah think?

Okay! So now we're back at Embers, and I wanted to surprise you with plottys mcplot, and I'm a little intimidated about adding to A&X... But I will suggest plots for K&D and J&R!!! Okay... Okay... Sugar, now I need plots...
Okay well. Devlin is a vampire. That much has been established. Can he have maybe killed Mickey's mother at some point along the line? Mickey's mother was a slayer too, and Mickey watched her being killed when he was only eight. And he saw Dev do it (If he did do it. That's up to you. He's a souless monster after all, he's probably killed a lot of peoples mums. But if Rach chooses that Devlin didn't do it, it could've been Leon who the young mickey mistook as Devlin.)
Anyways, Mickey goes to Gile's about it, telling him he's concerned about having a vampire so close to their slaying operation. Gile's and Mickey talk, eventually ending with Mickey convincing Giles that Devlin still has the amulet of Armageddon, and that Devlin is a threat. Mickey, knowing that Kestrel won't allow Devlin to be killed, talks Giles into stalling Kestrel while Mickey goes to kill Devlin. Up to Rach what happens there, but eventually Kestrel realises she's being stalled.
All through this, Kestrel is beginning to feel a little bit weaker. She's blacking out for small periods of time, and things really escalate when she almost gets stabbed by a random vampire she was fighting with her own stake. Devlin can have his own plot here, s'up to Rach. Anyways, turns out the watchers council were ordering Giles to place and enchantment over Kes that would remove her slayer abilities temporarily, and see how she was able to cope with patrolling and slaying using only her mind and not her strength. Mickey tells Kestrel about his mother, and she starts to question her trust with Devlin. She stops telling him things, and gets suspicious because she thinks he might have started killing again. She starts trusting Mickey more and more. Up to rach if Dev does anything. Kestrel gets stabbed by a vampire, but goes to Mickey instead of Devlin. She survives, obviously.
Meanwhile, Camilla finds out a little more about Kestrel. And that's going to be a surprise...

Why are you intimidated to add to A&X?? Dude, last thing I wanted! I want you to add and take away!! You’ve heard the expression, two heads is better than one? Yes. In other words, edit away!!! I’m begging you. I can’t stress it enough!
Okay well. Devlin is a vampire. (Thanks for that). I don’t mind Dev having killed Mickey’s mother, so long as there was a viable reason behind it, and I’m wondering which direction would get more drama, Leon or Devlin?? Get back to me. Mickey saw Dev/Leon doing it, blah blah, and I’d just like to point out that Devlin has not killed a lot of peoples’ mums....

Kes can be mad, and Devlin will get annoyed. A little more hostility.
All through this, Kestrel is beginning to feel a little bit weaker. Devlin will have some family issues; Nathanial is persistent about the wedding, and will soon notice that Dev has some newfound weaknesses. Leon’ll insist Devlin go with him to the six hundredth Dragon tournament in Egypt, and Dev will have some serious choices to make then.

And after that surprise, Dev’ll say goodbye to Kes and leave with Leon for the tournament. Up to Hannah what Kes thinks, but Devlin wont give anything away about how he really feels. At the tournament, Dev meets another pureblood vampire friend of his, Keely Immaculata and they hit it off again. Devlin, deciding that it’s best to try and move on from Kes, dates Keely instead.
Im thinking you can skip to Zombies if you’re still up for tht idea, but for now thats all I gots.

[DRAMA GOD]

Starting from...
Devlin will notice her lack of trust, and start to see things a little differently, and he begins to consider leaving again. He’ll kill someone in a barfight he gets stuck in, and Kes can have seen this. Kestrel gets stabbed by a vampire, but goes to Mickey instead of Devlin. She survives, obviously, and is afraid to tell Devlin she's been stabbed, because it traumatized her a little. Yeah that’ll be when Devlin makes up his mind on leaving with Leon for Egypt. Kestrel will want him to stay, and will be just about to tell him she's sorry and how much she needs him and blah, when the surprise happens.
[Meanwhile, Camilla finds out a little more about Kestrel. And that's going to be a surprise...]
And after that surprise, Dev’ll say goodbye to Kes and leave with Leon for the tournament. Kestrel will be heartbroken, especially after the surprise, and beg Devlin to stay, but Devlin wont give anything away about how he really feels. At the tournament, Dev meets another pureblood vampire friend of his, Keely Immaculata and they hit it off again. Devlin, deciding that it’s best to try and move on from Kes, dates Keely instead.
Meanwhile, Kestrel gets depressed. She starts failing school, losing her friends, and cutting herself. She hits a vein. It could've been intentional, I dunno. But she's saved anyway, by a man who just happened to be in the area... Why hello, John, nice to meet you!
And then yes, I think zombie time!

Okay, I had an idea ambush, and I now have 2 subplots to add in before the bar fight.
1. Russell. He's in love with Kes, isn't he? First he's gonna kiss her, and when Kes rejects him they have words. Up to Rach if Devlin hears/sees or not.
2. Glory. Glory is Abalams sister but unlike Abalam, she has corporial form (as in shes physical, everyone can see her, shes possessing a body but the woman inside, unlike Kestrel, didn't survive the possession, so it's all Glory in there) She comes through to our dimension seeking to rule the world! Yay! Wait, not yay... Anyways, we'll talk more about that nearer when / if we do it. I have some ideas. We'll talk anyways.
