Ours
Elevator buttons and morning air, Strangers silence makes wanna take the stairs, If you were here we'd laugh about their vacant stares, But right now my time is theirs.
Seems like there's always someone who disapproves, They'll judge it like they know about me and you, And the verdict comes from those with nothing else to do, The jury's out but my choice is you.
So don't you worry your pretty little mind, People throw rocks at things that's shine and Life makes love look hard. The stakes are high, The waters rough, But this love is ours.
You never know what people have up their sleeves, Ghosts from your past gunna jump out at me, Lurking in the shadows with their lipgloss smiles, But I don't care, Cause right now your mine.
And you'll say... Don't you worry your pretty little mind, People throw rocks at things that's shine and Life makes love look hard. The stakes are high, The waters rough, But this love is ours.
And it's not theirs to speculate, If it's wrong and, Your hands are tough but they are, Where mine belong and, I'll fight their doubt and give you faith, With this song for you.
Cause I love the gap between your teeth, And I love the riddles that you speak, And any snide remarks from my father about your tattoos, Will be ignored, Cause my heart is yours.
So don't you worry your pretty little mind, People throw rocks at things that's shine and Life makes love look hard. And don't you worry your pretty little mind, People throw rocks at things that's shine and But They can't take what ours. They can't take what's ours. The stakes are high, The waters rough, But this love is ours.

YOUR SONG - Elton John (Yes, I like the Elton John version more than Ellie Goulding, although she does do a very pretty version. This song always reminds me of Shannon ) It's a little bit funny this feeling inside I'm not one of those who can easily hide I don't have much money but boy if I did I'd buy a big house where we both could live If I was a sculptor, but then again, no Or a man who makes potions in a travelling show I know it's not much but it's the best I can do My gift is my song and this one's for you And you can tell everybody this is your song It may be quite simple but now that it's done I hope you don't mind I hope you don't mind that I put down in words How wonderful life is while you're in the world I sat on the roof and kicked off the moss Well a few of the verses well they've got me quite cross But the sun's been quite kind while I wrote this song It's for people like you that keep it turned on So excuse me forgetting but these things I do You see I've forgotten if they're green or they're blue Anyway the thing is what I really mean Yours are the sweetest eyes I've ever seen

Yes, when you're feeling lost in the night When you feel your world just ain't right Call on me, I will be waiting Count on me, I will be there Anytime the times get too tough Anytime your best ain't enough I'll be the one to make it better I'll be there to protect you, see you through I'll be there, and there is nothing, I won't do
I will cross the ocean for you I will go and bring you the moon I will be your hero, your strength, anything you need I will be the sun in your sky I will light your way for all time, promise you For you I will, yes yeah, yeah
I will shield your heart from the rain I won't let no harm come your way Oh, these arms will be your shelter No, these arms won't let you down If there is a mountain to move I will move that mountain for you
I'm here for you, I'm here forever I will be your fortress tall and strong I'll keep you safe, I'll stand beside you right or wrong I will cross the ocean for you I will go and bring you the moon I will be your hero, your strength, anything you need I will be the sun in your sky I will light your way for all time, promise you For you I will, yes yeah, yeah
For you I will Lay my life on the line, for you I will fight, oh for you I will die, with every breath, with all my soul, I'll give my word, I'll give it all Put your faith in me, put your faith in me And I'll do anything...oh... I will cross the ocean for you I will go and bring you the moon I will be your hero, your strength, anything you need I will be the sun in your sky I will light your way for all time, promise you For you I will, yes yeah, yeah
I will... oh... I will cross the ocean for you I will go and bring you the moon I will be your hero, your strength, anything you need I will be the sun in your sky I will light your way for all time, promise you For you I will, yes yeah, yeah

I Hope You Dance - Lee Ann Womack
I hope you never lose your sense of wonder You get your fill to eat But always keep that hunger May you never take one single breath for granted God forbid love ever leave you empty handed I hope you still feel small When you stand by the ocean Whenever one door closes, I hope one more opens Promise me you'll give faith a fighting chance
And when you get the choice to sit it out or dance I hope you dance I hope you dance
I hope you never fear those mountains in the distance Never settle for the path of least resistance Living might mean taking chances But they're worth taking Lovin' might be a mistake But it's worth making Don't let some hell bent heart Leave you bitter When you come close to selling out Reconsider Give the heavens above More than just a passing glance
And when you get the choice to sit it out or dance I hope you dance (Time is a real and constant motion always) I hope you dance (Rolling us along) I hope you dance (Tell me who) I hope you dance (Wants to look back on their youth and wonder) (Where those years have gone)
I hope you still feel small When you stand by the ocean Whenever one door closes, I hope one more opens Promise me you'll give faith a fighting chance
And when you get the choice to sit it out or dance Dance I hope you dance I hope you dance (Time is a real and constant motion always) I hope you dance (Rolling us along) I hope you dance (Tell me who) (Wants to look back on their youth and wonder) I hope you dance (Where those years have gone)
(Tell me who) I hope you dance (Wants to look back on their youth and wonder) (Where those years have gone)

When your down and troubled And you need a helping hand And nothing, whoa nothing is going right. Close your eyes and think of me And soon I will be there To brighten up even your darkest nights. You just call out my name, And you know whereever I am I'll come running, oh yeah baby To see you again. Winter, spring , summer, or fall, All you have to do is call And I'll be there, yeah, yeah, yeah. You've got a freind. If the sky above you Should turn dark and full of clouds And that old north wind should begin to blow Keep your head together and call my name out loud And soon I will be knocking upon your door. You just call out my name and you know where ever I am I'll come running to see you again. Winter, Spring, summer or fall All you got to do is call And I'll be there, yeah, yeah, yeah. Hey, ain't it good to know that you've got a friend? People can be so cold. They'll hurt you and desert you. Well they'll take your soul if you let them. Oh yeah, but don't you let them. You just call out my name and you know wherever I am I'll come running to see you again. Oh babe, don't you know that, Winter Spring summer or fall, Hey now, all you've got to do is call. Lord, I'll be there, yes I will. You've got a friend. You've got a friend. Ain't it good to know you've got a friend. Ain't it good to know you've got a friend. You've got a friend.

Ooo, you make me live whatever this world can give to me It's you, you're all I see Ooo, you make me live now honey Ooo, you make me live You're the best friend that I ever had I've been with you such a long time You're my sunshine And I want you to know That my feelings are true I really love you You're my best friend Ooo, you make me live I've been wandering round But I still come back to you In rain or shine You've stood by me girl I'm happy, happy at home You're my best friend. You're the first one When things turn out bad You know I'll never be lonely You're my only one And I love The things that you do You're my best friend Ooo, you make me live. I'm happy, happy at home You're my best friend You're my best friend Ooo, you make me live You, you're my best friend.

Gred and Feorge (Shannons Song)
Do you ever get those days, and it feels like it only gets worse I wonder if God's up there taking bets on who he thinks will give up first All the grown ups say "It gets better in the end" What kind of a crappy life are we in for if it only starts to get better at death?
I hope you don't mind if I miss you, You're the best thing since sliced bread, We've got our afterlives to look forward to, Maybe our ghosts can hook up, once we're dead, It's hard to believe you're leaving soon, It's really easier done than said... What can I say? You're the Feorge to my Gred.
I realise now this song kind of sucks, But here's a shock, I don't give a -- damn, Pinky promise if you ever walk down the aisle You're going to fly me in to be your best man, Because brides maids dresses are sappy, And you'll be wearing white all Klu Kluks and happy, I think I just stepped over the line, Don't get me wrong I'm not racist, I'm just looking for words that rhyme.
Well I'll try to get to New Zealand, but you know, It's a hell of a swim, And I'm kind of afraid of the water... And sharks... And jellyfish, Not to mention octopi, you know they eat themselves, that's how they die, That's got me thinking, hows that possible? Those crazy suicidal cannibals.
I think I've gone a little off the plot, I wrote this song, believe it or not For a reason, Goddammit, what rhymes with Stapleton? Oh well... *Cough*... Shannon... I love you. And Leanne and Glen too, And your parents are way cool, 'Cause they let us have a flour fight, Damn, that was a great night.
I hope you don't mind if I miss you, You're the best thing since sliced bread, White or wheat, I'm not entirely sure, But I don't mind, so long as theres jam and spread, It's hard to believe you're leaving soon, You better write me, and Skype me, 'Cause what was George without Fred? Nothing but a crazy ginger wizard... He should get a lizard. And name it Fred. Fred the lizard.... You're the Feorge to my Gred.

Come stop your cryin' it will be alright Just take my hand, hold it tight. I will protect you from all around you, I will be here dont you cry. For one so small, you seem so strong. My arms will hold you keep you safe and warm, This bond between us cant be broken, I will be here dont you cry
'Cos you'll be in my heart, yes you'll be in my heart, From this day on now and forever more. You'll be in my heart, No matter what they say, You'll be here in my heart, Always.
Why can't they understand the way we feel, They just don't trust what they cant explain. I know we're different but Deep inside us, where not that different at all.
And you'll be in my heart, yes you'll be in my heart, From this day on now and forever more.
Don't listen to them, 'cos what do they know? We need each other, to have to hold. They'll see in time, I know. When destiny calls you, you must be strong I may not be with you, but you got to hold on. They'll see in time, I know. We'll show them together 'cos
You'll be in my heart, Believe me, You'll be in my heart. I'll be there from this day on, now and forever more. Ooh you'll be in my heart (you'll be here in my heart) No matter what they say (I'll be with you) You'll be here in my heart (I'll be there) Always
Always I'll be with you, I'll be there for you always Always and always. Just look over your shoulder Just look over your shoulder Just look over your shoulder I'll be there always.

Franklin -by Paramore
And when we get home, I know we won't be home at all This place we live, it is not where we belong And I miss who we were in the town that we could call our own Going back to get away after everything has changed
'Cause you remind me of a time when we were so alive (Everything has changed) Do you remember that? Do you remember that? (Everything has changed) 'Could you help me push aside all that I have left behind (Everything has changed) Do you remember that? Do you remember that?
So we stand here now and no one knows us at all I won't get used to this I won't get used to being gone And going back won't feel the same if we aren't staying Going back to get away after everything has changed
Could you remind me of a time when we were so alive (Everything has changed) Do you remember that? Do you remember that? (Everything has changed) 'Could you help me push aside all that I have left behind (Everything has changed) Do you remember that? Do you remember that?
Taking up our time Taking up our time Taking up our time It's taking up our time we can't go back, we can't go back at all It's taking up our time we can't go back, we can't go back at all It's taking up our time we can't go back, we can't go back at all It's taking up our time, taking up our time
Could you remind me of a time when we were so alive Do you remember that? Do you remember that?

EVERYBODY IS FREE TO WEAR SUNSCREEN
If I could offer you only one tip for the future, sunscreen would be it. The long term benefits of sunscreen have been proved by scientists whereas the rest of my advice has no basis more reliable than my own meandering experience…I will dispense this advice now. Enjoy the power and beauty of your youth; oh nevermind; you will not understand the power and beauty of your youth until they have faded. But trust me, in 20 years you’ll look back at photos of yourself and recall in a way you can’t grasp now how much possibility lay before you and how fabulous you really looked…. You’re not as fat as you imagine. Don’t worry about the future; or worry, but know that worrying is as effective as trying to solve an algebra equation by chewing bubblegum. The real troubles in your life are apt to be things that never crossed your worried mind; the kind that blindside you at 4pm on some idle Tuesday. Do one thing everyday that scares you. Sing. Don’t be reckless with other people’s hearts, don’t put up with people who are reckless with yours. Floss. Don’t waste your time on jealousy; sometimes you’re ahead, sometimes you’re behind…the race is long, and in the end, it’s only with yourself. Remember the compliments you receive, forget the insults; if you succeed in doing this, tell me how. Keep your old love letters, throw away your old bank statements. Stretch. Don’t feel guilty if you don’t know what you want to do with your life… the most interesting people I know didn’t know at 22 what they wanted to do with their lives, some of the most interesting 40 year olds I know still don’t. Get plenty of calcium. Be kind to your knees, you’ll miss them when they’re gone. Maybe you’ll marry, maybe you won’t, maybe you’ll have children, maybe you won’t, maybe you’ll divorce at 40, maybe you’ll dance the funky chicken on your 75th wedding anniversary… what ever you do, don’t congratulate yourself too much or berate yourself either – your choices are half chance, so are everybody else’s. Enjoy your body, use it every way you can… don’t be afraid of it, or what other people think of it, it’s the greatest instrument you’ll ever own.. Dance…even if you have nowhere to do it but in your own living room. Read the directions, even if you don’t follow them.
Do NOT read beauty magazines, they will only make you feel ugly.
Get to know your parents, you never know when they’ll be gone for good. Be nice to your siblings; they are the best link to your past and the people most likely to stick with you in the future. Understand that friends come and go, but for the precious few you should hold on. Work hard to bridge the gaps in geography and lifestyle because the older you get, the more you need the people you knew when you were young. Live in New York City once, but leave before it makes you hard; Live in Northern California once, but leave before it makes you soft. Travel. Accept certain inalienable truths, prices will rise, politicians will philander, you too will get old, and when you do you’ll fantasize that when you were young prices were reasonable, politicians were noble and children respected their elders. Respect your elders. Don’t expect anyone else to support you. Maybe you have a trust fund, maybe you have a wealthy spouse; but you never know when either one might run out. Don’t mess too much with your hair, or by the time you're 40, it will look 85. Be careful whose advice you buy, but, be patient with those who supply it. Advice is a form of nostalgia, dispensing it is a way of fishing the past from the disposal, wiping it off, painting over the ugly parts and recycling it for more than it’s worth.
But trust me on the sunscreen…

Remember me by MarieClaire, Rachel, Saorlaith, Barbabra, Victoria and Buckola.
I'm blank, can't find the words to say How we felt when you moved away This song is just to let you know, you'll always be a part, You'll always be apart of my heart.
Be a butterfly, sweet as a moonlit sky, Don't let anything ever bring you down, Be a butterfly, sweet as a cherry pie, Always here if you need us around
Creating fariytales out of dreams An adventure we made life to be Not afraid to spread our wings Can i ask you just one thing? Remember me.
Be a butterfly, sweet as a moonlit sky, Don't let anything ever bring you down, Be a butterfly, sweet as a cherry pie, Always here if you need us around
Be a butterfly, sweet as a moonlit sky, Don't let anything ever bring you down, Be a butterfly, sweet as a cherry pie, Always here if you need us around
Remember me

In times like these In times like those What will be will be And so it goes And it always goes on and on... On and on it goes
And there has always been laughing, crying, birth, and dying Boys and girls with hearts that take and give and break And heal and grow and recreate and raise and nurture But then hurt from time to time like these And times like those And what will be will be And so it goes
And there will always be stop and go and fast and slow Action,Reaction, sticks and stones and broken bones Those for peace and those for war And god bless these ones, not those ones But these ones made times like these And times like those What will be will be And so it goes And it always goes on and on... On and on it goes
But somehow I know it won't be the same Somehow I know it will never be the same.

It's so hard to figure out Which way to turn There's no going back now All your bridges burned The stars are gonna shine on you If you can get through the day Storm clouds all around you But a blue skies on the way.
And we're all just passengers tonight And we're all just traveling through our lives We will reach our destination So just hang on for the ride Say a prayer and close your eyes It's just a little turbulence.
Take a look around you Look how far you've come Your whole life in front of you You've only just begun We've all got our problems But they're just bumps in the road If you only keep on fighting There's no where you can't go.
And we're all just passengers tonight And we're all just traveling through our lives We will reach our destination So just hang on for the ride So say a prayer and close your eyes Its just a little turbulence.
This life can be so crazy Can spin out of control But I hope that all your dreams come true Cause you know that you're amazing And no matter where you go I'll be there for you We can make it through.
And we're all just passengers tonight And we're all just traveling through our lives We will reach our destination So just hang on for the ride Say a prayer and close your eyes Its just a little turbulence.
And we're all just passengers tonight And we're all just traveling through our lives We will reach our destination So just hang on for the ride Say a prayer and close your eyes Its just a little turbulence.
