I took a huge bite out of my muffin and shrugged. "It wasn't on the menu."
We reached central park a couple of minutes later. I had already devoured my muffin, which was delicious, and I couldn't wait to get started on my roll. "Hows about we sit under that tree over there?" I asked Alex, swallowing my mouthful and pointing to a huge oak tree in the distance. The open grass was full and besides, the sun was going to go in around ten minutes. I could smell the rain clouds forming; literally.

"Looks good to me" I said, walking over. I sat down under the tree and laid out all of our stuff. I starting eating my chips. Yum.
"I love this place." I said looking around. "There's so much to do"

[Sophie Monro]

"I agree," I mutterd, biting into my roll. "I didn't think I'd like living in a city, but so far Its been pretty awesome." I smiled and sipped my latte. "Cheers," I held up my styrofoam cup expectantly to her.

I tipped her cup. "I've always liked the idea of living in a city."

[Sophie Monro]

"Why?" I asked, happy that she'd tipped my cup. "Do you not find it noisy? Or a little smelly at times?" I knew I did. I grinned.

"Yeah but there are so many different people in a city and so muchthings to do. Its fun" I explained.

[Sophie Monro]

"Understandable," I grinned at her, "but you have to admit, it does smell a little..."

[Alex Leto]

"Just a little" I shrugged. "Not here though. Here smells good. Or maybe thats the coffee."
I took another sip of my coffee. It was almost gone and getting cold. The only thing worse than no coffee, is cold coffee.

I laughed at that. "Yeah, I love my lattes!" I smiled and took a sip of the bitter sweet, lukewarm liquid. Even cold, lattes were still amazing. "So, Alex, What courses have you decided to take?" I was halfway finished with my roll and already, I was feeling full.

"Music." I said instantly. "And I'm taking Lit, drama and art aswel. What about you?"
My parents wanted me to do business and maths but to hell was I doing that. I wanted to do something more creative.
I took a bite out of my muffin. It was as nice as it looked.

"I'm doing fashion design and a beautitions course. I love it!" My dream was to be a famous fashion designer. I'd been designing clothes and other fabrics since I was five and my father bought me a Bratz Fashion Kit for my birthday. "Oh, hey, I wanna show you something. Here," I took out two pens from my pocket and told her to make them into an 'X' shape and that she must not, under any circumastances, move the pens.
"Alright, when I say 'now', slowly pull the pens appart vertically," I smiled as I begn to tie an invisible rope around the pens. "And dont move them or I'll have to start again." I continued to tie the 'rope' around the pens and then pretended to tie a bow on top. I may have stretched the whole process out a little, but I was having fun.
"Okay, pull them appart slowly... Now," I smiled.

I knew this trick. It was one of Shannon's favourites. I played along though.
I pulled the pens apart slowly and felt the pull on them, like there was a rope around them.
"That's pretty cool." I grinned.

"You knew that one, didn't you?" I smiled at though to say its okay but I felt a little disapponted at the same time. I didn't show it though.

"Yeah, sorry" I shrugged. "Shannon."
I looked up at the sky. "It's staarting to rain" I said.

I knew it would start to rain. I smiled to myself; I loved being a water sprite. I was also a witch in some ways, I had found a spell book when I was still a water sprout and it became a hobby of mine.
"Should we get going?" I asked Alex, finishing off my roll.
